The flexible, PC-controlled high-performance mitre saw PSU 450 A combines economical cuts and high plant output with outstanding operating convenience. Its high level of automation and its flexibility cover a wide application spectrum. The mitre circular saw is capable of processing profiles and pipes as well as solid material of different dimensions in fully automatic operation.

Servo-motorised axes for material positioning, mitre angle adjustment and the optional disposal gripper ensure maximum system throughput. The discharge device grips the part to be sawn, and once the cut is complete deposits it out of the machine area in a freely programmable position.

Thanks to its modular design, the mitre circular saw PSU 450 A can be combined with infeed magazines or disposal equipment to suit the application.

    By connecting the infeed and cut-off gripper, the mitre circular saw is fully automated. This also includes the disposal of trim cuts, remnants and gussets resulting from mitre cuts in automatic operation.

    The heavy machine stand and the vibration-damping cast iron components made by Behringer ensure a low-vibration sawing process and thus an increase in tool life.

    Alternating sawing eliminates the need for gussets on sections with the same angle. This saves material and increases productivity.

    The heart of the PSU saw units is a worm gear unit with Eisele shock-absorbing feature, produced in-house. The robust design of the gearbox consistently dampens vibrations. This ensures a good cutting surface, long saw blade life and a long service life of the saw.

    Everything in view. Everything under control. The control system is self-explanatory, simple, avoids operating errors and allows quick navigation in the various programmes.

  • Short cycle times
    by electronic cutting height adjustment and rapid return of the saw blade.

  • High cutting quality
    Workpiece clamping on both sides of the saw blade ensures a clean cutting surface and low tolerances.

  • Micro spray system
    When sawing profiles, pipes and solid material, the standard minimum quantity lubrication system delivers the best results. The saw blade is constantly moistened with cutting oil via a nozzle. This guarantees a long tool life and a clean working environment.

  • Modern interfaces
    The connection of the sawing system to process control systems can be realised via standardised interfaces such as ASCII, DSTV or OPC-UA.
