Horizontal bandsaw HBE261A Dynamic

Behringer’s cutting pressure control system measures the cutting forces directly at the saw band and therefore responds with particular sensitivity. When cutting materials of varying cross-sections, pipes and profiles, it automatically adjusts the saw feed rate to the actual load on the saw blade. This prevents load peaks and unnecessary wear on the saw blade. This improves cut quality and has been proven to increase the service life of the saw blade by up to 25 per cent.

Thanks to modern drive technology and optimised hydraulics, energy consumption can be reduced by around 30 per cent compared with previous models. This not only lowers operating costs but also improves the sustainability of production. Furthermore, under certain conditions, investment in energy-efficient production technology in Germany can be supported by attractive government subsidy schemes, which further enhances the cost-effectiveness of a new purchase.

The HBE261A Dynamic is suitable for cost-effective use in industry, the steel trade and metalworking. It is designed for precise batch and individual cuts across a wide range of materials – from solid material to tubes and sections, right through to metals and plastics that are difficult to machine.

The maximum cutting area is approximately Ø 260 mm for round material and 300 × 260 mm for flat material.

The HBE261A Dynamic is designed for a wide range of materials and is suitable for metals that are both easy and difficult to machine, as well as for plastics. Thanks to its high-performance sawing technology, it processes a wide variety of workpieces reliably and precisely – from tubes and sections to solid material. With the optional bundle clamping device, bundles of material can also be sawn economically and with process reliability. This makes the machine a versatile solution for a wide range of sawing tasks, suitable for both industrial manufacturing plants and the steel trade.

The robust grey cast iron saw frame dampens vibrations and ensures maximum stability during the sawing process. This enables higher cutting rates, more precise cuts and a longer service life for the saw band. Particularly when working with demanding materials such as stainless steel, titanium or nickel-based alloys, the high level of vibration damping improves both the quality of the cut and process reliability.
