Stahlbau Westerwald relies on a MAGevo 620
The plate processing centre from Vernet Behringer has been supporting the production process since March.
For more than 60 years, SWW Stahlbau Westerwald GmbH has been designing and realising the construction of industrial and commercial halls, supplying steel structures for industrial equipment manufacturers or customised housings for machinery and filter systems.
In order to be able to process metal sheets of up to 6 m in length, 2 m in width and 5-60 mm in thickness in a modern and efficient way, Stahlbau Westerwald has decided to purchase a new Vernet Behringer MAGevo 620. The versatile machining centre is equipped with units for drilling and milling, marking and plasma cutting as well as automatic material handling. The system is complemented by a powerful extraction and filter system to remove the harmful dusts and gases produced during plasma cutting from the production hall.
The machine receives its work orders from the customer's connected ERP system and should there be a malfunction, our service technicians can connect to the machine software at any time via remote access.
