EuroBLECH 2026: Discover how to automate metal fabrication from profile preparation to welding

From October 20 to 23, 2026, Vernet Behringer will participate in EuroBLECH, the must-attend event for metal fabrication professionals. At the event, our teams will showcase two complementary solutions that illustrate our vision for the modern metal fabrication shop: an automated profile machining line and a robotic welding cell.

Addressing the Challenges of Steel Construction

The steel construction industry currently faces several major challenges: recruitment difficulties, rising productivity requirements, the need to control manufacturing costs, and the constant pursuit of impeccable quality.
To support steel construction companies through this transformation, Vernet Behringer develops solutions that automate the most demanding operations while ensuring precision, repeatability, and performance.

An automated line to optimize profile preparation

At its booth, Vernet Behringer will showcase a HDV combined marking, drilling, and milling machine paired with the HBE520-1026G band saw.

Designed for the automated processing of profiles used in industrial buildings, steel structures, and infrastructure, this production line can machine profiles up to 1000 x 450 mm.

Thanks to its high level of automation, it reduces downtime, minimizes manual handling, and ensures high precision throughout the manufacturing process.

Robotic welding suited for small production runs and one-off parts

Visitors will also discover the VBbyExner IRPS robotic welding cell, developed in collaboration with Exner.

This solution was developed to automate the welding of metal assemblies while ensuring consistent and repeatable quality.

Thanks to on-the-fly programming via assembly scanning, this solution is ideally suited for welding small batches and one-off parts. Manufacturers can thus secure their production capacity and optimize the use of their human resources.

A Comprehensive Vision of the Workshop of Tomorrow

Together, these two technologies illustrate Vernet Behringer’s approach: offering solutions that cover the entire manufacturing process to support the evolution of workshops toward greater performance, flexibility, and connectivity.
Automation, digitalization, and robotization are now becoming essential drivers for sustainably strengthening the competitiveness of steel manufacturers.

See you at EuroBLECH 2026

Our teams will be on hand, alongside the Behringer Group, throughout the trade show to present these solutions to you and discuss your automation and modernization projects.
