HBP410-723G Mitre-cutting bandsaw for steel construction

For more than 20 years, ALHO Systembau GmbH in Friesenhagen has been able to rely on the BEHRINGER HBP360-704G for cutting its steel construction profiles.

The ALHO Group is one of the leading suppliers and manufacturers in modular construction with over 1,100 employees at 15 locations and Europe-wide activities. The family-owned company develops and constructs residential buildings, office buildings, daycare centres and schools using modular construction methods. With the band sawing machine, steel beams are individually shortened and sawn straight or mitred as required. To optimise production, the ALHO Group has once again decided for a mitre-cutting bandsaw from Behringer - an HBP410-723G1 with individual material handling will make production even more economical in the future. This new acquisition gives the company the possibility to cut larger geometries up to 410 mm in height and 700 mm in width.

The 14 m long infeed roller conveyor offers flexibility in material purchasing, as long outfeed lengths can also be processed. On the outfeed side, an NC-controlled measuring device is arranged, which is ideal for positioning long cut-off lengths. After cutting, the beams are discharged to a material store by an automatic discharge device. The system is easy to program thanks to the integrated PC control. Several angle cuts can be easily nested and processed by the automatic cycle.

Despite the replacement investment, the old sawing machine is far from being obsolete. It will continue to be used by the subsidiary ALHO Systembau AG in Switzerland.
