When precise sawing technology, efficient high-performance drilling centres and shot blasting technology are combined, innovative production lines are born that are precisely matched to the customer's manufacturing process. Under the Partners4Steel brand, Behringer, Vernet Behringer and Rösler - the specialists in the field of drilling, sawing and blasting technology - cooperate for the benefit of all steel manufacturers and fabricators.
From planning and implementation to after-sales service - Partners4Steel are your competent and reliable partner for the steel market and offer system solutions and automation without interface problems.
Under the trademark “Partners for Steel” (P4S), Behringer, Vernet Behringer and Rösler Oberflächentechnik have been working together since 2009 to provide custom-specific complete solutions in the field of profile steel machining (sawing, drilling/milling, shot blasting and preservation). Over 1,700 employees around the world pool their expertise in a close-knit network of branch offices and international representatives.
The pre-processing stage is complex, especially in the profile steel trade and steel construction industries. Short processing times coupled with high plant throughput means material handling and linking of different process steps come to the fore.
The Partners for Steel are able to plan and create complex plants with different pre-processing stages and diverse, machining-dependent, material flow paths from a single source. Aspects such as the preparation of plant layouts that take the hall conditions into account, planning machining stations and machining sequences with calculation of throughput times, connection or integration of systems into the customer’s IT systems are all part of the wide range of services in this field.
Matthias Wenzl, Head of Plant Engineering and Handling Systems
In 2017, the company Handelshof Riesa Partner für Technik, Germany, opted for a solution from the Partners for Steel to make all its pre-processing activities more effective and to increase material throughput. As the general contractor, Behringer was responsible for the project planning and creation of the plant.
One of the key tasks was to digitalise the entire process and integrate it in the existing IT infrastructure. Starting with the order in the customer’s ERP system, the machining orders are automatically collected in the Behringer order management system (BAV).
The integrated production planning module enables CAD data to be created or imported and then made available to the cutting machines in standardised DSTV format. The production orders are thus nested based on time and materials, always in relation to the current stock levels.
The intelligent BEHRINGER Transport Management System (TMS) controls and optimises the entire material flow. Realtime visualisation provides an overview of the current production status at all times.
