Technical draftsman/draftswoman in the area of machine and plant construction
Technical draftsmen are the right hand of technicians, design engineers and project managers. They work in the CAD offices or in the area of plant and equipment planning and engineering. The field of activity of the technical draftsman includes creation and modification of technical drawings (e.g. machine construction plans etc.), performance or various calculations and use of the most modern CAD technology.
Training:
Duration: 3.5 years. The practical training takes place in the company. Vocational school instruction takes place on 6 days per month.
Requirements:
We expect candidates for this training to have a general certificate of secondary school education (Realschule) or a higher school leaving certificate. This training is suitable for those who are interested in mathematics and physics, who have good spatial awareness and imagination and a good understanding of geometry.
Possible employment following training:
Following successful completion of the training we would like to offer technical draftsmen and draftswomen a job in our company as far as possible. The area of work would be in the technical office.
Possibilities of further training:
Professional training can be continued after the initial training. Technical draughtsmen can qualify as state-examined technicians, for example.
